Nope, people actually encourage the use of the search function. I've no idea why people have their undercrackers in a twist.
Anyone been able to tame the Caribou? (havent seen it myself, but ive heard rumours)

I picked up a Raven as well about a week and some ago. I haven't gotten around to getting rid of it yet, but I really can't get over the graphics they have. Essentially the little stalk connector from body to wing bugs the daylights out of me (yeah, can't stand the tomb raider movie either... lips is all I see, too annoying). Guess I might go with a polar bear next seeing as how Bjorn = bear. I really wanted to like the Raven too... *sniff*

Too bad about the bees Ive wanted a swarm of bees since doing the honey quest in pre-searing two years ago and when I noticed them I was very very tempted to give up shattersail (endgame factions phoenix).
However seeing the new rainbow phoenix has me really thinking about getting on my "Big Deal" and "People Know Me" titles.
BTW thanks fer letting me know about the Bees, saves me getting caught without a pet or having to level a bran new phoenix.

Don't think so. It does not show up when I have others in the party.

I've got one in my HoM, and it looks like it's going to have to be charmed there if I decide to do it, and of course it won't spawn if you have anyone with you, so no death leveling.
From what I was reading about the skill Feral Aggression, it may be another option to train to dire. You'd still have to be very careful about how much damage you and your phoenix give and receive though.
In the meantime I'm going after a raven for Pyre.

but since HoM is considered an Explorable Area couldn't you just drag the phoenix over to the Entrance/Exit Portal (since there are no res points this is where you should spawn when you die) and have it kill you over and over...or will ogden try to heal you?

Heh-heh, lips, you say? Thanks for not mentioning the boobs! (so I can)...Boobs!!! Most people see boobs first/lips a secondary distraction from average, real human proportion...
But yeah, the wings on the raven when at rest are not jointed properly...At the very least, the model should have the wings resting at a gentle diagonal, as if basking (the way corvids cool themselves). But to have the wings not rest against the body, go horizontal and then down...well...looks ungainly to say the least. I try to keep moving just so I don't have to see it.
They will probably never fix it...the same way they will never fix those poor, unfortunate wolves with their hunchbacks. Anotomically, the part of the wing they show going strait out, should tuck back to the body (like pulling your elbows to your side), then the rest of the wing should be in two parts...one: like your fore arms being held with back of the wrists held close to the shoulders, two: like your hands holding your sides (think of the feathers as really long fingers)...a three jointed wing, not two...lacking the extra joint, the model can't fold the wings right....the longer I look at it, the weirder it gets...that's got me thinking Tomb Raider again....hmmmm

The lion's mane is wrong too. It should start fluffing out at the top of the head and frame the face... rather than be slicked back until the back of the head... and away from the face. When I first saw it, I suspected there was a reason for it, though I couldn't figure it out. Maybe to keep it from looking real? Maybe the same is true for the wolf... keeping it from looking real? Keeping it in the realm of fantasy?
